Breastfeeding, chestfeeding, and lactation support takes the form of a series of visits during pregnancy, immediately after birth, and/or during the postpartum period designed to educate you about lactation and infant feeding, identify and address challenges with latch and other elements of lactation, support you in developing the skill of breastfeeding/chestfeeding, and provide you with needed emotional support and referrals to help you to achieve your desired infant feeding journey. Lactation support may be covered by your insurance.
